Empowering actors of all ages to seek the deeper dig into what makes performances really moving.
NightBlue Performing Arts Company is a professional Chicago-based company. It is not just a theater, but a conservatory – having produced dance, vocal and theater shows. In 11 seasons, its artistic contribution has been staggering. NightBlue has done over 30 theater productions, over a dozen vocal and dance concerts, and collaborations with numerous groups in 3 states. Our artistic mission is compelling – to challenge actors to look within to create truthful depth without. “Performances That Move You!”
Our Immersion program builds confidence and self-esteem for area students through exploration of the dramatic arts. It helps young people to find their voice and to experience working collaboratively with students of different ages and backgrounds. We teach structure and discipline to students at a young age, and instill respect and responsibility for all people on a diverse team.

• Preparing our future: In 10 years, our training has led area students to perform in Chicago, South Bend, and NYC, and has helped students succeed in being admitted to college arts and academic programs. Research shows that young people who participate in the arts are 4x more likely to be recognized for academic achievement.
